Spring Community Investment Fund Recipients Announced

Kelowna, BC – Beem Credit Union is investing over $62,500 this spring to support six inspiring nonprofits across BC through its Community Investment Fund—part of a $125,000 annual commitment to building stronger, more inclusive communities. Since 2007, Beem has contributed more than $2.3 million to initiatives that foster resilience and belonging.
This spring’s recipients are launching or expanding programs that connect people, support mental health, celebrate culture, and create opportunities for growth.
Grants range from $5,000 to $15,000, awarded based on each project’s potential for lasting impact and alignment with Beem’s social priorities: education, well-being, and financial wellness. “These organizations are stepping up to meet the unique needs of their communities,” says Brian Harris, CEO of Beem Credit Union. “This seed funding is about more than dollars—we believe in their work to build resilience, inclusion, and connection across BC.”
