Beem Credit Union and CECU Merge, Integration Now Underway

Kelowna, BC – [June 2, 2025]: As of June 1, 2025, Compensation Employees Credit Union (CECU) members and employees have officially joined Beem Credit Union and will now operate as a branch of Beem. This follows a resounding 89.7% merger endorsement from CECU members earlier this year.

With the merger now complete, the transition of former CECU members onto Beem systems will immediately begin. With this change, these newest Beem members will gain access to Beem's extensive range of products, accounts, and financial services, an upgraded digital experience, and a network of branches that spans from the Lower Mainland and Sea-to-Sky Corridor, through the Interior and Okanagan Valley, and into the Cariboo and the North. “We’re excited for our future together with CECU and look forward to delivering a better banking experience for all,” added Harris.
